Roman charged with cruelty to children

A Rome man remained in the Floyd County Jail on several charges Saturday night after police said he had contact with a woman who had a temporary protective order against him and damaged her vehicle, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Tyler Matthew Wright, 23, of 66 Lyons Drive is charged with felony aggravated stalking, felony cruelty to children, misdemeanor criminal trespass and probation violation.
