According to the reports:
Tammy Renee Bannister, 42, of 164 Wiseman Road, Kingston and Robert Lee Ballard, 37, of 448 Turkey Mountain Road, Rome, went to the home on Saturday night to pick up the vehicle of relative of Bannister.
The alarm went off and when a neighbor checked the home, some jewelry was discovered missing.
The couple was stopped by police on Morrison Campground Road several hours later. They agreed to let police search the car and two watches reported stolen from the home were found.
Ballard and Bannister remained in the Floyd County Jail on Sunday.
