Rome police charged a man with burglary after they say he broke into a Sampson Street residence early Tuesday morning and took a wallet from a table, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Jonatan Miguel Martinez, 23, of 15 N. Sycamore St., also took a child’s bicycle from outside the residence and used a screwdriver to get into the home at about 3 a.m.

He was charged with burglary, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, theft by taking and public drunkenness.
