Authorities arrested a man Tuesday after he allegedly harassed a Rome woman, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Carmelo Irizarry Gordon, 67, of 37 Fox Fire Lane, Cartersville, was charged with felony terroristic threats and acts and misdemeanor stalking after he sent numerous text messages to the victim between Dec. 2 and Dec. 20 and had a letter delivered to the victim’s place of work.

He stated to a witness at one point to tell the victim to decide to come back to work for him or else “they would hate him for what he had to do.”

A few days later he relayed to the victim “the clock is ticking.”

Gordon remained in jail Tuesday night without bond.
