Although many coaches in the area were concerned that there would be some postponements tonight due to travel conditions, all six of the GHSA schools in Floyd County tonight will play their games as planned.
At Darlington, the Lady Tigers will host Christian Heritage at 6 p.m., with the boys game to follow at 7:30 p.m.
At Armuchee, the Lady Indians and Indians will entertain their biggest rivals -- Model -- in Region 7-AA action, with the girls game starting at 7 p.m. and the boys to follow at 8:30.
Also in Region 7-AA action, the Pepperell teams will host Murray County at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., while the Coosa teams will host Chattooga.
The Rome High teams will be at home tonight for Region 5-AAAAA contests, with the girls hosting Woodland at 6 p.m., followed by the boys game at 7:30 p.m.
