A Rome man facing insurance fraud and arson charges is now facing five counts of making terroristic threats after he said he would cut off a body part and sell his soul to the devil to see a man and his family die in a car wreck, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

Randy Edwards, 47, of 1 Firetower Road, reportedly made the threats while talking to a Floyd County investigator on Feb. 15.

He remains in the Floyd County Jail.
