Temkin ranks Atlanta companies based on customer experience - Chick-fil-A, Arby's rank high

Several Atlanta companies landed on market research organization Temkin Group’s 2013 rankings of companies based on customer experience.

Temkin ranked a total of 246 companies across 19 industries. The Temkin Experience Ratings evaluates three areas of customer experience: functional (can customers do what they want to do?), accessible (how easy is it to work with the company?), and emotional (how do consumers feel about their interactions?).

The following Atlanta companies are performing above industry average:

No. 3 -- Chick-fil-A Inc. had experience rating of 82 percent, 6 points higher than industry average.

No. 13 -- Arby’s Restaurant Group Inc. had an experience rating of 79 percent, 2.5 points higher than industry average.

No. 29 -- The Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD) had an experience rating of 77 percent, 3.5 points higher than industry average.

No. 53 -- United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE: UPS) had an experience rating of 74 percent, 0.4 points higher than industry average.

No. 64 -- SunTrust Banks Inc. (NYSE: STI) had an experience rating of 73 percent, 4.2 points higher than industry average.
