The mother of a 15-year-old Heritage High School student was arrested Thursday night for making false claims against an assistant principal, whom she accused of assaulting her son in early February.

According to the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office:

Davida Kaye Caylor, of 184 Rolling Hills Drive in Ringgold, was arrested about 6 p.m. Thursday on two counts of tampering with evidence, false statements within jurisdiction of the state, and obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers.

The arrest comes three weeks after Caylor accused Heritage High School assistant principal and head baseball coach Eric Beagles of slamming her son, Aaron Black’s, hand on a desk and causing a severe bruise.
