A freeze warning is in effect until 9 a.m. Sunday, and is expected to be reinstated Sunday night.
The National Weather Service also is warning early morning drivers to be alert to icy patches that may have developed on the roads overnight. The more dangerous areas will be in the higher elevations of the north Georgia mountains that re-ceived more than an inch of snowfall Saturday.
Here’s a look at the forecast for the next few days:
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 46. Occasional wind gusts as high as 20 mph.
Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 26.
Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 58. Calm wind.
Monday night: A 40 percent chance of showers after 8 p.m., with a low around 40.
Tuesday: Cloudy, with a high near 58. Change of precipita-tion is 60 percent.
