PREP SPORTS: Soccer games cancelled in Lindale

The Pepperell vs. Coosa girls and boys soccer matches scheduled for this afternoon in Lindale have been postponed due to the storms that moved through the area.

The makeup dates for the games are scheduled to be announced on Wednesday.

Also postponed were tonight's Rome High's soccer games (the boys were slated to host Woodland, and the girls were scheduled to visit Woodland).

The games in Lindale weren't cancelled...those kids aren't allowed to play in Lindale, they play on the YMCA fields. They don't really have any "home" games.

The games scheduled at Grizzard Park between Pepperell and Coosa were cancelled, though. Both teams were there. The refs decided not to show up...
