Intercession is planned at every school except Glenwood Primary School, said Tim Hensley, assistant to Superintendent Jeff McDaniel.
Glenwood Primary has piloted a year-round student support program this year, Hensley said, and students from Glenwood have been receiving extra instruction when necessary throughout the year.
The intercession for Armuchee-area schools will be from 8 a.m. to noon. Coosa-area schools will have intercession from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Schools in the Model district will have intercession from 8 a.m. to noon, and Pepperell schools’ intercession will be from 8 a.m. to noon.
Drivers training will take place at Pepperell High School from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., but Hensley said it will just be the classroom portion of the course. The driving component will be in the summer.
Floyd County Schools offers the drivers training class for teens in the county system, Rome City Schools and private schools in the area.
