Two students from the Floyd County Schools College and Career Academy attended the annual Georgia Career Technical Student Organization's (CTSO) Legislative Breakfast held on Tuesday, February 12 in Atlanta. Maria Bucio, a junior at Pepperell High School, and Josh Couch, a junior at Armuchee High School, represented the College and Career Academy at the event. Bucio, a member of the Health Occupations Students of America, and Couch, a member of Skills USA, joined CTSO students from across the state to host Legislative members at the breakfast.

The teen representatives visited with the Legislators and discussed the importance of CTSOs to students and their career development. After the breakfast, Bucio, Couch and other student representatives spent time observing activity on the floor of the Senate and House during their time at the Capitol.
