The Southern Athletic Association has announced the softball SAA Pitcher of the Week for games played March 4-10. Caillee Shamoun of Berry College won the honor.

Shamoun went 3-0 on the week for the Vikings. She posted a 1.25 ERA in 21.1 innings pitched and held opponents to a .192 batting average for the week.

The Vikings went 3-3 for the week as the senior right-hander got all the wins: one at Cal Lutheran and two vs. Rhodes.

This is the second straight time a Berry pitcher won the award. Natalie Boyd took the prize last week.
