A Bartow County man and woman were arrested Tuesday in connection with a man found dead in Emerson.

According to Bartow County Sheriff Clark Millsap:

Tammy Lynn Murphy, 50, and Steven Mark Eller, 45, both of Cartersville are charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, tampering with evidence and concealing the death of a person.

On Sunday, police found the body of 47-year-old Danny Lamar Gravely in the bed of his truck on Red Top Road.

Gravely died from a single gunshot wound to the head, investigators said, and they also believe the indicent took place at another location.

Searches of that property yielded evidence that pointed to the murder having occurred at a Dogwood Place residence where Gravely, Murphy and Eller lived as roommates. The motive for the killing appeared to have come from an argument between Gravely and his two roommates.

Murphy and Eller are both being held at the Bartow County Jail without bond.
