Today is the first day back to school for students at Berry College Elementary and Berry College Middle schools.

Rome and Floyd County students returned to class Monday, and St. Mary's and Georgia School for the Deaf go back to school Monday, Aug. 10.

Other back to school date are Unity Christian, Aug. 13; Montessori School of Rome, Aug. 14; and Darlington School, Aug. 17.

Darlington will also have a ribbon cutting for its new Middle School on Aug. 17.
