Rome Area Writers will hold its annual holiday fest Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Landmark Restaurant,2740 Martha Berry Highway. Guests are welcome, but all are responsible for their own meal orders. The meeting is in lieu of the regular monthly meeting at the Rome-Floyd County library. There will be a surprise presentation, then time for open readings.
