Armuchee High student wins Exchange Club speech contest

Four students representing high schools in Floyd County were each presented a check for $100 for their speeches on positive patriotism by the Exchange Club of Rome today.

The winner of the contest was Parker Strain Moore of Armuchee High School, who will go on to represent the club in June at the District Exchange Convention being held in Rome.

Others who competed included Connor Holmes of Pepperell High, Joseph Watts of Model High and T.J. McGinnis of Coosa High.
