Powell replaces Ricketson as CFO and will be responsible managing all finance-related activities of the bank.
Ricketson, will takeover human resources, compliance, facilities and security in his new role as CAO.
Powell, a veteran of more than three decades in the banking industry joins Hamilton State Bank from the Iberia Bank in Louisiana.
Ricketson has similarly worked in the industry for more than 35 years and was a key player in Hamilton’s recent acquisitions of Bartow County Bank, McIntosh State Bank and First State Bank, in Stockbridge.
