Georgia homicide suspect picked up in Chattanooga

Chattanooga police today arrested a Georgia man wanted in connection with the death of his former father-in-law in Bartow County, Ga., police said. Fugitive investigators and U.S. Marshals located Jimmy R. Greeson, 50, at the Quality Inn on Brainerd Road, said Sgt. Jerri Weary, a police spokeswoman. The father-in-law, Ray Carver, was found dead in his home Monday, according to Atlanta media reports. He had been beaten to death and was found by a neighbor, reports said.
