Students will be carrying on Martha Berry’s mission of working hard to serve others through a bountiful summer harvest festival at the Berry Enterprises Farmer’s Market this Saturday at Berry College in Clara Bowl from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kids can have their photo taken with a Jersey calf, compliments of AgriEducation, as they eat free cotton candy and popcorn. Inflatables, corn toss and face painting will also be on site for further entertainment.

Angus beef and cheese from the cows on the Berry grounds will be provided by Jersey Milk. For those that come hungry, Berry Angus burgers will be served for $5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Martha’s Herbs will be selling potted herbs, and handcrafted Adirondack chairs by Viking Furniture will be ready for pick up at the market, signed by the student who crafted it. Woven items will be available from Viking Creations and the Oak Hill Gift Shop will be displaying Berry gift items.

A variety of community vendors will be on site to offer home-canned vegetables, salsa, jams and jellies, fresh-cut flowers, woodworking items, handmade jewelry and bath and beauty products.
