Winners of 11 of their past 14 games, the Lady Vikings (19-9) host Birmingham-Southern today in a doubleheader that begins at 1 p.m. at South Ford Field.
The opening game of the doubleheader represents the first of six straight home games for the Lady Vikings, which includes a doubleheader against Maryville on Sunday and a twinbill against Young Harris on Wednesday.
The Lady Vikings then wrap up the season with four straight road games.
Berry has posted a 6-4 record at home this season, and has gone 5-3 on the road. The Lady Vikings have done their best work at neutral sites, posting an 8-2 mark.
Berry has posted a .786 winning percentage since March 7, and Kristen Stoll has helped steer the surge.
She is batting .478 this season with four homers and 35 RBIs and a sizzling .783 slugging percentage.
Krista Woody (.385-3-17) has also been a key contributor, as has former Rockmart star Lacey Herring (.326-5-25).
Herring, a junior, is slugging .589 and has gone 8-for-8 in stolen bases.
