Mr. and Mrs. George Whittle IV and Mr. Tracy Bollen of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Danielle Bollen, to Kenneth Duane Hight of Shannon.

Miss Bollen is the sister of Amanda and Morgan Bollen and the granddaughter of the late Richard Vetter, Sylvia Vetter and Glenda Jones as well as Tommy Bollen and Mr. and Mrs. Greg Tate of Rome.

Miss Bollen graduated Options High School 2010 in Texarkana, Texas, and is also a graduate of Signal Core Bravo 551, Fort Gordon. She is currently employed by Fuddruckers in Rome and will be attending Asbury University in Kentucky, majoring in Equine Mental Health.

Hight is the father of Brilynn Shyanne and the son of Kenny and Patricia Hight. He is the brother of Steven and Rachel Hight of Shannon. He is the grandson of the late Fred Abrams and Betty Abrams of Rome as well as the late Harm Hight and Ona Hight of Rome.

The groom-elect attended Armuchee High School and is employed by Shaw Industries.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 9, 2012, at sunset by candlelight in remembrance of friends and family who have passed.
