Charles Curlee will be finalizing the staffing of his new restaurant

on Broad Street during the next week and making plans to open July 2.

He plans a soft opening at 227 Broad St. during the first week of July with eyes on a

big weekend July 6-7.

“We’ve been working on staffing for the past two weeks and have the servers and wait staff pretty well settled on," he said.

Curlee indicated that he’s picked most of his staff but has a few positions left to fill.

“By the time we get Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday under our belt people will already know that we’re open and we’ll be ready for the weekend,” Curlee said. He said he will be open on the July 4 Independence Day holiday.

I am SO looking forward to this opening. As many good places as we have to eat out in this town, this still should fill a void.
