Georgia Power crews work to splice buried cables at the base of a utility pole that was being replaced Sunday on East First Avenue behind the West Lofts Apartments. Power was out for much of the day for the apartments and businesses at the southeast end of the 200 block of Broad Street. (Doug Walker)
Residents of the West Lofts Apartments and business owners in the area were notified last week of the scheduled power outage, which will be repeated Sunday August 5 in the 300 block of broad Street.
