Gwinnett Majic top Rome Gladiators 123-97
Former Shorter star Eric Nix and the Rome Gladiators lost to the Gwinnett Majic, 123-97, on Friday night at the Winthrop-King Centre at Shorter.

The Gladiators’ roster includes former local stars Corey Edmondson (Coosa), Mike Dean (Coosa) Craig Calhoun (Model), Alex Ingram (Coosa), Jay Nelson (Rome High), Terrell Burley (Rome High)

and Elijah Smith (Cedartown).

The team is coached by Sean Perkins and is locally owned by the Hixon Group.
