The rivers in our area are the TSPLOST for us. Give this land back to the Native Cherokee Indians. Allow casino resorts to be built and operated. Allow the people to decide where the funds will be spent just as long as we know it stays in the community and divided in fairness with the state, but still belonging to the Cherokee Tribe. Ideally, from Ga. 140 south to Brushy Branch and then some is the prime property. Let’s not delay — reverse the Trail of Tears. Build the classic riverboat casinos in this area.
NAFTA has taken away our industrial livelihood. It’s time to bring financial independence back to Northwest Georgia. It will also create jobs. We must decide our own fate , not Georgia government and not the federal government.
Anything said in opposition is an excuse.
Last and most important: All clergymen, put your collection plates out with both hands and let us all take a moment to pause and pray that we do what is right for the people and by the people. Atlanta will benefit from the TSPLOST if you vote yes. North Georgia will continue to struggle and the Cherokee tribe will continue on a Trail of Tears.
