Man charged with possession of marijuana

A Rome man was arrested and charged with a felony count of possession marijuana Wednesday, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Jacob Alan Baker, 18, of 320B Alfred Ave., was found to have more than an ounce of marijuana during a consent search conducted by the Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force.

He remained in jail Wed­nes­day night without bond.
