Mentone group plans a 10 a.m. Paradise Gardens tour

MENTONE — The Mentone Area Arts Council is organizing a tour Saturday of the late Howard Finster’s Paradise Gardens.

The tour will begin at 10 a.m. and will be led by John Turner, who spent many hours working with folk artist Finster at Paradise Garden and was Finster’s friend. The cost is $10 per person.

The tour will meet at the entrance to the gardens, 200 N. Lewis St., Summerville.
