Former Darlington standout Shawn Powell once again got to show the Buffalo Bills why they signed the punter.

In the Bills’ second preseason game of the year, they traveled to Minnesota to take on the Vikings.

In the second half, Powell punted three times for 138 yards for an average of 46 yards per punt, with a long of 54, no touchbacks, and one punt that landed inside the 20-yard line.

Powell, who was an All-American at Florida State, will most continue to see action in the Bills’ next preseason game when Buffalo plays host to Pittsburgh on Saturday, Aug. 25.
