Police: Silver Creek man wrecks vehicle on 101

A Silver Creek man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he allegedly wrecked his vehicle on Rockmart Road at Spur 101 while under the influence of prescription drugs, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Weston Lewis Gosa, 23, of 100 Treemont Drive, was found in possession of Xanax and Lorcet without a prescription and a pipe with residue. He was charged with felony possession of controlled substances, misdemeanor drug related objects and DUI drugs. He remained in jail Wednesday night.
