The Rome Braves’ game against the Columbus Catfish Monday night at Golden Park in Columbus came to a premature, rain-soaked end.

The Braves-Catfish game, which started at 9:13 p.m. after a rain delay of 2 hours, 13 minutes, was suspended in the top of the fourth inning with Rome ahead 11-1.

The game will resume tonight at 6. After that game is completed, the Braves and Catfish will play another nine-inning game.

Rome scored its 11 runs on 12 hits in the first three innings, chasing Columbus starter Osvaldo Rodriguez after just 1 2-3 innings.

Columbus’ lone hit was a solo homer by shortstop Chin-Lung Hu
