The Rome Braves opened an eight-game homestand on a sour note Tuesday night when the Carleston (S.C.) RiverDogs rolled to a 12-3 win at State Mutual Stadium.
The RiverDogs, who ended the night with a 12-hit attack, blew the game open in the seventh inning when they put together a five-run outburst.
The two teams square off Wednesday for an afternoon game starting at 1 p.m
