Hosting West Virginia at SMS in the opening game of a eight-game homestand, the Braves were trailing 6-1 at the end of the second inning when the contest was halted due to a thundershower.

The game will resume today at 5 p.m., and will be followed by a seven-inning game to complete the doubleheader.

The Braves, who are in first place in the South Atlantic League’s Southern Division, have won 12 of 18 since the All-Star break.
