How it happened: The Braves’ series finale in Kannapolis, N.C. began, and then the rain forced the game to be postponed. Since it was the last game of the series, and the last time the Braves face the Intimidators, the game has been canceled and will not be made up.

Game notes: The Braves (29-15) have a four and a half game lead over Asheville in the Southern Division.

Robby Hefflinger was named the South

Atlantic League offensive player of the week.

Next Game: The Braves have an off day today, and then return home Wednesday for a four-game series against the Greensboro

Grasshoppers.
