How it happened: After trailing 6-0 headed into the bottom of the eighth, the Braves plated four runs in the eighth and two in the ninth to send the game to extra innings. With two outs in the 10th, Ryan Query knocked a single to right to drive in the winning run and give the Braves their 10th straight win

Who did what for Rome: Robby Hefflinger and Tony Mueller each drove in two runs, and William Beckwith and Kyle Kubitza each drove in a run.

On the mound: John Cornely earned his first win of the season after striking out four and not allowing a hit or a run in the final three innings.

Game notes: The Braves (26-14) now have a five game lead in the Southern division.

Next Game: The Braves host Augusta today at 1 p.m. where they will be looking to go a perfect 7-0 this homestand.
