The turning point: The Braves were down early in the game as the Drive put up four runs in the first inning. The Drive had another big inning in the fifth when they scored five runs.

Who did what for Rome: William Beckwith was the only player with multiple hits for the Braves. He went 2-for-4 with a home run. Tony Mueller and Will Skinner each had an RBI. Skinner and Elmer Reyes also hit doubles.

On the mound: Ryan Weber took the loss for the Braves, dropping to 5-4 on the season. He gave up 10 hits, 10 earned runs and struck out three. John Cornely and David Starn pitched in relief.

Next Game: Following an off day today, the Braves return home to State Mutual Stadium for an eight-game homestand. They’ll begin with a four-game series against West Virginia. The first game will be tonight at 7 p.m.
