Kangaroo stores in Floyd County are raising money to help soldiers, veterans and their families with events that begin today and continue Saturday.
The Salute Our Troops Tour will feature patriotic vehicles and “hometown military heroes,” according to a press release. The events benefit the USO, the Wounded Warrior Project and the Georgia National Guard Family Support Foundation.
Today:
8-10 a.m.: Kangaroo Express store No. 3647: 1881 Old Calhoun Road
11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Kangaroo Express store No. 3678: 5880 New Calhoun Road
4-6 p.m.: Kangaroo Express store No. 3564: 3070 Cedartown Highway
Saturday:
4-6 p.m.: Kangaroo Express store No. 3655: 2401 Garden Lakes Blvd.
