Dr. Matthew Hoch, assistant professor of music at Shorter College, will present a faculty recital in Brookes Chapel at Shorter College on Monday at 7:30 p.m. The recital is open to the public at no charge. He will be accompanied by Elizabeth Blood, instructor of music at Shorter College.

Joining Dr. Hoch for the recital will be soprano Lisa Sain Odom, a voice faculty member at North Greenville University and Western Carolina University.

Spanning almost 300 years, the program includes J.S. Bach’s cantata Ich habe genug, BWV 82; duets from Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni; Debussy’s Cinq poèmes de Charles Baudelaire; and solos and duets from the American musical theatre repertoire.
