Jessica and Cora Flinchbaugh of Rome recently had their hair cut and donated to the Locks of Love organization.

Cora, 10, is a fifth-grader. Jessica, 7, is a second-grader. They both attend Garden Lakes Elementary School.

The girls wanted to help children with cancer and other illnesses who lost their hair and did not want others to laugh at them. Their hair was cut by their mother, Stephanie Flinchbaugh, at their home.

Flinchbaugh cut off 14 inches of Jessica’s hair and 16 inches of Cora’s hair.
