Allison Wetherington
Presented by Nike’s “The Chance,” the program drew 100 of the top female youth soccer players born between 1993 and 1996 from across the United States.
Out of the 100 participants, 18 , including Wetherington, were selected for an international soccer experience in England.
These players will also be invited to attend Mia Hamm’s TeamFirst Academy to work alongside the former U.S. international star and her staff.
The ECNL played against Everton Ladies, one of the top teams in England. The nal results was 1-1.
The game was called 10 minutes early because of rain and lightning.
