DULUTH, Ga. (AP) — The state Department of Early Care and Learning is hosting two workshops on supporting language and literacy development in infant and toddler classes.

The classes will outline the best teaching practices for developing good language and reading skills in children. The conference encourages teachers to read, talk, and promote vocabulary all day long in their classrooms.

One workshop is Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth.

The other seminar is June 16 at the Hilton Garden Inn on South Front Street in Albany. It also runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
