JONESBORO, Ga. (AP) — Two more employees of the Clayton County Sheriff's Department have filed a lawsuit against Sheriff Victor Hill, saying he discriminated against white employees when filling senior positions in the department.

Sherrie Martin and Holly Watkins also have filed a lawsuit with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

``As he's getting rid of the white people that are in more senior positions such as captain and lieutenant and so on, he is immediately replacing them with black officers,'' Miller said. ``It's obviously part of a racial agenda.''

Hill denies the claims and calls the lawsuit frivolous.

``My jail commander is white. My field operation person is white. And not because we feel that we've got to have anybody white. They're just the best people for the job,'' Hill said.

A hearing is scheduled for Jan. 31, but there could be delays because a visiting judge may need to hear the case. Citing their regular contact with Hill's office, all the county's Superior Court judges have recused themselves
