According to World Energy vice president for logistics and operations Brennan Marusa, what kind of chemical reaction sparked the fire is still unknown.
The release went on to state one employee was taken to Floyd Medical Center and was released after being treated for minor burns. His name was not released.
The statement also reported that employees were able to extinguish the fire and contacted the fire department after it was out.
World Energy also reported no structural or equipment damage was caused.

Rome-Floyd Fire Department officials and Floyd County police responded to a fire at U.S. Biofuels Inc., located at 555 W. Hermitage Road in Shannon, just after 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 20.
According to Battalion Chief Troy Brock:
The fire was caused by a chemical reaction, and one person, whose identity was not released Friday night, was injured and taken to Floyd Medical Center for treatment.
Brock was unable to confirm how damaged the structure was, as fire officials could not access the damaged area.
The fire marshal was summoned to the scene to further investigate the incident.
