LaFAYETTE — A two-day special planning session this weekend between the LaFayette mayor, city council and city manager will start the ball rolling on the search for a new public safety director to replace Tommy Freeman.
Freeman was fired by city manager Frank Etheridge Wednesday morning after an internal investigation concluded that Freeman could not be trusted in the position.
