Woman arrested on burglary, forgery charges

A Rome woman was arrested Thursday after police said she burglarized a residence in northern Floyd County and also cashed a stolen check.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Amelia Regina Little, 28, of 406 Woodward St., was arrested by Floyd County police at 3 p.m. She was charged with felony burglary and felony forgery in the first degree.

Police detectives stated that on April 22, Little entered a residence on Rush Chapel Road without permission and stole several items. That same day, police said Little went to a grocery store in Shannon after knowingly stealing a check and cashed that check for $150.

She remains in jail without bail.
