According to Floyd County Jail records:
Stephanie Lynn Allen, 22, of 1295 Bellview Road, was arrested by Floyd County deputies at 2:15 p.m. She was charged with felony cruelty to children in the second degree.
Warrants stated that on Nov. 7, Allen injured a 2-year-old child on Gaines Road when “with intent and criminal negligence, she threw a cup of ice from a moving vehicle, striking the victim in the mouth” and causing a laceration to the child’s lip.
Allen remains in jail without bail.
