Because of expected wintry weather, the Georgia Chamber has postponed its annual Eggs & Issues Breakfast, planned Jan. 11 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

The organization said on its Facebook page that new dates for the breakfast and Jan. 10's annual meeting reception would be announced when they are available.

Speakers for the event were to include Gov.-elect Nathan Deal, Lt. Gove. Casey Cagle and Speaker of the House David Ralston.

Al Hodge, president of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce, said a local group had planned to go the breakfast, but the trip will have to be rescheduled.
