Dallas man facing DUI, drug charges

A Dallas man was charged with misdemeanor DUI and felony possession of a controlled substance and other charges after he was stopped by police on U.S. 27 on Wednesday morning, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Tony Ray Foster, 44, of 521 Hitchcock Road, closed his eyes when police attempted to do field sobriety tests.

Police found a half bottle of whiskey under one seat and a bag of marijuana and clonazepam under the other seat.

In addition to the DUI and felony drug charge, Foster was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, weaving, open container and an illegal window tint.

He remained in the Floyd County Jail on Wednesday evening.
