THANK you for publishing Matt Ellerbeck’s column on snakes recently. It is not only immoral but it is against the law in Georgia to kill a non-venemous snake. God didn’t make a mistake in creating snakes.

They play a very important part in ecology, especially in controlling insects and rodents. They are generally docile and try to avoid contact with humans.

It is time for people to grow up and use common sense — and intelligence — in dealing with nature.
