A Lyons Drive woman has been charged with three felonies after police say she passed off a fake prescription for the painkiller hydrocodone, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Misty Ann Smith, 28, of 66 Lyons Drive, Rome, was arrested on Tuesday after an Aug. 3 incident.

According to an affidavit for arrest Smith passed off the fake prescription at the Redmond Circle Walmart earlier this month using a phony name.

She is charged with felony forgery in the first degree, possession of a controlled substance and fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance.

She was released from jail on Wednesday.
